During this week we remember all thousands of victims who passed away during the unfortunate accident that happened 8 years ago in the textile factory Rana Plaza.

With the hashtag #whomademyclothes you can ask brands to be transparent about their production and the fabrics they use.
So during this week we will be introducing all the people we work with.
First in line is Flagbag.
Flagbag is a Belgian upcycling project. Besides upcycling they also provide education and work opportunities for people who have difficulties in finding their place in the job market despite the fact that they have plenty of talent.

The lovely people at Flagbag produce our bags.
We strongly believe in our philosophy: We love our bags, but we love the people we work with even more.
Without Flagbag Emma Martin wouldn’t exist.

Cette semaine, nous nous souvenons des milliers de victimes décédées lors du malheureux accident survenu il y a 8 ans dans l'usine textile Rana Plaza.

Avec le hashtag #whomademyclothes, vous pouvez demander aux marques d'être transparentes sur leur production et les tissus qu'elles utilisent.Donc, pendant cette semaine, nous allons présenter toutes les personnes avec lesquelles nous travaillons.Le premier en ligne est Flagbag. Flagbag est un projet belge d'upcycling. En plus de l'upcycling, il offre également une éducation et des opportunités de travail aux personnes qui ont des difficultés à trouver leur place sur le marché de l'emploi, même si elles ont beaucoup de talent.

Les gens de Flagbag produisent nos sacs et nous croyons fermement à notre philosophie : Nous croyons fermement à notre philosophie : nous aimons nos sacs, mais nous aimons encore plus les personnes avec lesquelles nous travaillons.

Deze week herdenken we de duizenden slachtoffers die 8 jaar geleden omkwamen bij het ongeluk, dat plaatsvond in de textielfabriek Rana Plaza.

Tijdens deze week wordt er extra aandacht besteed aan duurzame mode. Je kan met de hashtag #whomademyclothes aan modebedrijven vragen waar hun kleding vandaan komt, wie ze gemaakt heeft en welke stoffen ze gebruiken. Met dit initiatief wil men dat bedrijven transparant communiceren over hun productie.
Daarom zetten we deze week alle bedrijven met wie we samenwerken in de kijker.
We beginnen bij Flagbag.
Flagbag is een Belgisch upcycling project. Naast upcycling zijn ze ook een sociall tewerkstellingproject. Onze tassen worden met de hand gemaakt in hun atelier. Zonder hun hulp zou Emma Martin niet bestaan. Ze maken van iedere tas een uniek, duurzaam en authentiek exemplaar.
